What We Do

Family Promise of Wayne County helps our local communities coordinate their compassion to address the root causes of family homelessness. We provide shelter and case management when families become homeless, and once they have secured housing, we arrange a Five Star Start and up to 12 months of case management support services to ensure they remain independent. We tap existing local resources to empower families towards economic stability. Families come to us in crisis; we help them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.
